Liberty High School issued the following announcement on Sept. 17

Homecoming is coming soon! The Liberty Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, October 16th from 7pm to 10pm at the State Farm (Cardinals) Stadium. Part of the security procedures for the Cardinals Stadium, students will be required to pass through metal detectors upon entrance into the facility. NO BAGS or any metallic devices other than a phone or car key will be permitted. Any violations of Liberty rules will result in immediate consequences.

Tickets go on sale Monday, October 4th and continue until Friday, October 15th during lunch by Student Council in front of the cafeteria. The ticket price for Liberty students is $30 and guest tickets are $35. Students should buy their tickets early as there is a capacity of 1300.

Prior to students purchasing a ticket for the Homecoming Dance, they must complete a Homecoming Dance Code of Student Conduct (parent signature required) and be cleared by the Liberty Bookstore and Library. Forms may be picked up in the Liberty Athletics office starting Monday, September 20th.

All students wishing to bring a non-Liberty student to the Homecoming Dance will need their guest to complete a guest contract and code of conduct form. Guest forms are available in the Liberty Athletics Department starting Monday, September 20th. Incomplete or late forms will NOT be accepted. Students are responsible for obtaining all signatures and providing a clear copy of the guest ID. We will not fax or e-mail guest forms on behalf of the student. Any form submitted with an invalid signature will be denied and students will not have the opportunity to resubmit a new application. Guests must be under 21 years old and elementary school students may not attend. GUEST CONTRACTS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 28TH to the Athletics Office. Guests must enter the event with their Liberty student.

A list of approved guests will be posted Friday, October 1st in the Liberty Athletics office. Students should buy their tickets early as no more than 300 guest tickets will be sold.
