Fauquier County Education: Which school had most students enrolled in 2023-24 school year?

Liberty High School had the highest enrollment among Fauquier County schools, welcoming 1,360 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 52.9% of them were male, and 47.1% were female.

The most represented ethnicity among Liberty High School students was white, accounting for 49.8% of the student population.

Among the 18 schools in Fauquier County, Kettle Run High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 1,189 students, while Fauquier High School welcomed 1,162 students to be ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Liberty High School is part of Fauquier County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Fauquier County, with its main office in Bealeton.

In the previous school year, Liberty High School also had the highest number of students among Fauquier County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
