The Academies of Loudoun had 17 students and three teachers participate in the 57th annual SkillsUSA Virginia State Leadership Conference and Skills Championships on April 8 and 9 in Virginia Beach.
The Academies of Loudoun participants brought home six gold, six silver and three bronze medals. Zainab Akbar was elected to an at-large state officer position and the Academies of Loudoun was designated as a Quality Chapter.
