This spring, Loudoun County staff presented the Unmet Housing Needs Strategic Plan which outlines for the Board of Supervisors the tactics available to address this critical housing shortage in our community. Over the summer, Supervisors from the Transportation and Land Use Committee will be developing priorities and implementation steps in order the begin executing the plan this fall.
Please join us on June 22nd for our first in-person PolicyMaker Series event in over 15 months. We’ll be joined by members of the County staff leading the team responsible for the creation of the Unmet Housing Strategic Plan, Valmarie Turner and Sarah Coyle Etro. Following their presentation will be a panel made up of community leaders from the Ad Hoc Housing Committee. This local group of housing, zoning, and business experts formed to provide educated community input on the plan and solutions of greatest impact to address our housing shortage.
