Loudoun County issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
Due to the forecasted inclement weather on Sunday, February 7, 2021:
All recreation centers, community centers, senior centers that are usually open on Sundays, and parks operated by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) will operated on a delayed opening schedule on Sunday, Feb. 7.
All PRCS facilities will open at noon Sunday, Feb. 7.
All PRCS programs before noon on Sunday, Feb. 7 are canceled.
Please continue to monitor the weather forecast and county news and information for any updates on Sunday morning regarding the operations of PRCS facilities Sunday afternoon.
Loudoun County Animal Services’ animal shelter will be closed Sunday, Feb. 7.
The Health Department’s COVID-19 call center will be closed Sunday, Feb. 7.
Branches of the Loudoun County Public Library are currently scheduled to be closed on Sundays.
