On Saturday, May 17, former Woodgrove High School standout Michelle Chatfield’s current collegiate team the Virginia Tech Hokies lost 3-4 against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the tournament.

The Virginia Tech Hokies’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 4:55 p.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium.
