William & Mary’s Stephen Christopher helps secure 8-2 win over Georgetown in NCAA Division I baseball

At 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, William & Mary Tribe, featuring former Highland High School standout Stephen Christopher, defeated the Georgetown Hoyas 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup.

The matchup was played at Capital One Park and marked the second meeting between these teams this season. In the earlier contest on Friday, March 13, the Tribe fell to the Hoyas 6-5.

Christopher pitched for 2.1 innings, tallying two walks and two strikeouts.

William & Mary is set to face Georgetown again at Capital One Park, with the next game scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, March 15.
