The lowest reported price for diesel gas in Fauquier County was $5.09 per gallon during the week ending May 16, available at one gas station, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $5.66 per gallon for diesel gas.
GasBuddy reports show that diesel gas was available at 28 of the 38 reported gas stations in Fauquier County.
Across Virginia, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $5.56, compared to the week before.
