On Wednesday, April 23, former Woodgrove High School standout Abbey Lane’s current college team, the George Mason Patriots, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
The game took place at Our Lady of the Meadows. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.
The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. at George Mason Softball Complex against Loyola Ramblers.
