Venture Central announced on May 13 the launch of a free online resource hub designed for food and beverage businesses and farms in Culpeper, Fauquier, and Rappahannock counties.
The new platform aims to support local entrepreneurs by providing access to over 60 resources related to regulations, pricing, distribution, and marketing. The hub also features chat rooms for business owners to connect with each other and a growing directory of local enterprises.
According to Venture Central, the resource hub is free to join for eligible businesses. It is intended as a one-stop destination where users can find practical information as well as networking opportunities with others in the region’s food sector. Rappahannock County continues to see growth in its community institutions. The Rappahannock County Public Schools District enrolled 774 students during the 2023-24 school year, which was an increase of 5.2% compared to the previous year’s total of 736 students, according to the Virginia Department of Education. Of these students, white students made up the largest ethnic group at 82%, followed by Hispanic students at about 10.5%. Rappahannock County Elementary School had the highest enrollment among county schools with 466 students during that period.according to the Virginia Department of Education.
The new resource hub may help foster further development among small businesses and farms in this growing region.
