Towson Tigers fall 3-2 to Northeastern Huskies in college baseball matchup

The Towson Tigers, featuring former Loudon County High School standout Dutch DeProspero, were edged 3-2 by the Northeastern Huskies in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.

The contest was held at Parsons Field and Friedman Diamond. It marked the third time the Tigers faced the Huskies this season. In their prior meeting on Saturday, March 14, Towson lost 3-1.

DeProspero pitched four innings, surrendering three earned runs while tallying six strikeouts.

Towson is slated to play its next game at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks at John B. Schuerholz Baseball Complex.
