Town Council to Hold Special Meeting August 25, 2022 at 6pm for Presentation of Town Charter

The Town of Lovettsville Town Council has scheduled a Special Meeting on August 25, 2022 at 6pm for the presentation of the amended Town Charter by Virginia Delegate, Dave LaRock. The regular Town Council meeting will proceed thereafter.

The meeting is public and open to all desiring to attend.

Town Council adopted amendments to the Town Charter during their January 10, 2022 meeting and sent it to Virginia Delegation for codification into state law (HB1028). The Town’s Charter was approved by the General Assembly in April 2022 and later signed into law by Virginia Governor, Glenn Youngkin.
