On Thursday, April 17, former Fauquier High School standout Mikayla Gilmore’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Averett Cougars.
The game took place at Cougar Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Moyer Sports Complex against Eastern Mennonite Royals.
