Leesburg, VA – On May 30, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) announced new constituent casework milestones: successfully closing 10,262 cases for her constituents and returning a total of $18,125,726 to the hardworking taxpayers of Virginia’s 10th District.

“Since my first day in Congress, advocating on behalf of my constituents and delivering results that improve their lives has been my top priority. Thanks to my incredible constituent services team, we have been able to get more 10,000 residents of our district the help that they deserve,” said Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton. “To anyone in Virginia’s 10th District who needs help with a federal agency, please do not hesitate to contact me – my office is here as a resource, and my team is ready and eager to help.”

Congresswoman Wexton’s staff is able to help constituents retrieve benefits they are owed by the federal government and get assistance by navigating the red tape with federal agencies. Her team has a strong track record of success in helping constituents resolve a variety of different issues, such as Social Security and Medicare, veterans benefits, IRS issues, passports and visas, small business assistance, and federal grants and loans. More information about services Wexton’s office may be able to assist with can be found here. While Wexton’s office cannot always guarantee constituents a favorable outcome, staff will always work to ensure constituents receive a fair and timely response to their problem.

Below are a few testimonials from Virginia-10 constituents who have been assisted by Congresswoman Wexton’s team recently:

“Amazing experience. I never thought my case would be resolved. In fact, I lost hope until Rep. Wexton took my case and helped me recoup my underpayment.”

– Abdo from Manassas, who sought help receiving their full Social Security benefits

“I am very pleased with the prompt intervention of Rep. Wexton's office in order to get my issue with FRTIB resolved. After dealing with FRTIB for over a month and submitting all the required documents prior to the deadline, they did not approve my loan in a timely manner and then later unjustifiably canceled my loan request. Thanks to Rep. Wexton's office, my loan request was escalated and was approved in less than two weeks. Will be forever grateful with your outstanding assistance. Please keep helping out the constituents, you really get things done and can make a difference.”

Rebecca from Aldie, who was having trouble getting approved for a loan from the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB)

“Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful stuff. Everytime I call the office, they are very cooperative. My caseworker was very helpful. Great customer service, she kept me updated until my issue was resolved.”

– Mohammad, who requested help receiving their tax refund
