The college is hosting career fairs at both campuses next week. On Tuesday, March 22, there will be a Career & Internship Fair from 10 am. to 3 p.m. in the Corron Community Development Center on the Middletown Campus.
Around 100 employers representing the healthcare field, law enforcement, hospitality and recreation, business, computers and information technology, education, trades and manufacturing, science, cosmetology, government agencies, the military and more will be in Middletown. Free resume services will be available.
There will also be session on “The 3 Secrets to Landing Your Dream Job that No One has Told You” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Science and Health Professions Building, room 136. Learn more about the Middletown Campus event at lfcc.edu/careerfair.
The Fauquier Campus is hosting its own job fair on Thursday, March 24, from 3-6 p.m., which makes it even more convenient for our students taking evening classes to attend.
“Our fair on the Fauquier Campus is smaller, but still mighty and impactful, with businesses and employers across the board represented – healthcare, education, trades/industry, science and agriculture, retail/service industries, and computers and IT,” said Chris Lambert, coordinator of student life and engagement. “Students told us they’d love this opportunity at the Fauquier Campus, and we responded to that need.”
