NADA Selected as Exclusive Provider for General Motors Minority Dealer Development 20 Groups

National Automobile Dealers Association issued the following announcement on Jan. 28

The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) has been selected as the exclusive provider of 20 Group services for GM’s Minority Dealer Development (MDD) 20 Groups.

GM’s MDD program aims to change the face of the automotive retail industry by attracting and retaining minority dealers to its dealer network. The program also nurtures GM’s existing minority dealers and ensures they receive the support they need to grow their business.

Like NADA’s other 20 Groups, the GM MDD 20 Group meetings will equip dealers and managers with best practices and new ideas to improve dealership processes and performance. NADA will facilitate 20 Group meetings consisting of noncompeting dealers, which are led by NADA consultants with an average of more than 30 years of automotive retail experience. 20 Group meetings offer financial and digital marketing analytics comparisons of participating dealerships against average and best-of-class dealers, as well as access to NADA’s industry-leading OEM-specific online composite and ongoing support of 20 Group peers and consultants.

NADA has a strong team with experienced and dedicated consultants, as well as industry-leading web-based tools which will help dealers improve their performance. Together with our minority dealers, we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with NADA.”

NADA’s 20 Group meetings have a proven track record of improving the business success of participating dealers, including through its nearly decade-long partnership with GM to facilitate the company’s Women’s Retail Network (WRN) 20 Group meetings.
