Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
PolicyMaker Series: 2022 Commonwealth Outlook
Washington Dulles Airport Marriott
Thursday, December 2nd 8:00am - 10:00am
This next year will be critical in shaping the future of Virginia for many years to come.
There will be a new Governor and a new Lieutenant Governor, the 2021 House elections may shift the majority the Democrats currently hold in the house, and once completed, redistricting could send many seats back to elections in the Fall of 2022. Through this looming disruption, it is vital that Virginia continues to drive forward on key economic development issues such as maximizing growth of the tech sector and other high demand industries, ensuring that we have enough workforce housing that is critical to growth, while protecting critical infrastructure while looking forward to a more sustainable future.
Join us as we close out 2021 with an engaging and entertaining conversation with Jeff Schapiro, longtime political columnist with the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Renss Greene, Deputy Editor of Loudoun Now, and moderated by Tracy Baynard of McGuireWoods Consulting.
