The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Jennifer Wexton, Wexton for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Kathleen Lenihan on Aug. 26, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Wexton for Congress has refunded $5,800 total since March 1.
