Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 2

The Loudoun Chamber today announced the names of the 24 finalists for the 27th Annual Loudoun Small Business Awards.

These finalists are competing for top honors in six industry categories. The winner in each category will then square off for the title of  the Small Business of the Year. The finalists for Loudoun’s Entrepreneur of the Year will be announced on Friday, September 10, 2021.

The 27th Annual Loudoun Small Business Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at The National Conference Center, in Lansdowne.

“So many of Loudoun’s small businesses have demonstrated remarkable resilience and made so many selfless sacrifices to support our community throughout the COVID-19 crisis. The businesses and entrepreneurs who are honored as finalists for the 2021 Loudoun Small Business Awards are great examples of the ingenuity and devotion to Loudoun that so many in our small businesses community possess,” said Chamber President Tony Howard.

This year’s finalists were chosen by several blue-ribbon committees of Loudoun’s top business leaders and industry experts, who all carefully reviewed nearly 100 applications for Loudoun’s most prestigious business honor.

The Loudoun community can help select this year’s People’s Choice Award honoree during an online voting period that begins Thursday, September 2nd and ends Thursday, September 9th at 5 p.m. This week-long, online ballot allows the public to vote for their favorite finalists in each industry category.

Not only do these votes help determine which finalist earns top honors in their category, the top vote winner will be named the 2021 People’s Choice Award honoree. To vote, visit www.LoudounChamber.org/SBA. The People’s Choice Award is sponsored by BCT The Community’s Bank.
