Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.
Ribbon Cutting at Moe's Southwest Grill
Moe's Southwest Grill is having a Ribbon Cutting!
Thursday, June 3, 2021
12:00-1:00pm
Dear Warrenton Community,
Please join us on June 3rd for the official Ribbon Cutting and the unveiling of a Mural designed by Ebony Wells, a Senior at Fauquier HS. The event will be at the Moe’s Southwest Grill of Warrenton. We recommend guests arrive at 11:45a, with the presentation and events beginning promptly at 12p.
Here is a little background about the mural. Moe’s wanted to have a piece of art painted on the building that resonated with the Warrenton Community while also getting members of the community involved in the design process. With this idea in mind, we created a contest for the students at Fauquier High School to develop their idea and design of a mural for the Moe’s of Warrenton store.
At the 3rd, we will recognize Ebony, whose submission will now be a permanent piece of the Moe’s of Warrenton. In addition, Miss Wells will also be receiving a cash prize and Free Burritos for a Year for her accomplishment. We received some truly amazing submissions, and those who participated in the contest will also be receiving a Free Burrito prize for their hard work.
To keep the celebrations going, the Mayor will be in attendance to officially welcome the Moe’s to the community with a few words and an honorary Ribbon Cutting. We hope you can attend our special event and celebrate the accomplishment of our Mural Contest Winner.
Please let us know if you will be in attendance on June 3rd, and we look forward to seeing everyone in the coming days!
