The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Shadi Ayyas, Elect Dr. Ayyas, refunded $3,500 to Abeer Alarb on July 24, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Elect Dr. Ayyas refunded $5,500 total since February 1.
