Census Bureau reports Lowes Island population was 10,860 in 2019

Lowes Island had a population of 10,860 people in 2019, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Nova News.

The median age was 39, with 51.3 percent of the total population being female and 48.7 percent male.

The state's total population in 2019 was 8,454,463.
