Fauquier County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on March 12.
The men and women of the Sheriff's Office join Sheriff Mosier in recognizing the recent promotion of Master Deputy Sheriff Lucas Jacobs to the rank of Detective.
Detective Jacobs will serve in the Criminal Investigations Division.
