Fauquier County Agricultural Development Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
The Fauquier County Agricultural Development Department is undertaking a Farmers Market Feasibility Study in order to better understand consumer use and preference for farmers markets and to assess the feasibility for the establishment of new farmers markets in the county.
An important part of the study is a consumer survey to collect resident opinions on existing farmers markets as well as interest in support of new markets. Please see the link below to complete the survey. It should only take a few minutes of your time.
All responses will be kept confidential. Two survey participants will be randomly selected to receive $50 gift certificates from CFC Farm and Home Center. To be entered in the drawing citizens should include a phone number or email address. Surveys should be completed no later than FEBRUARY 28, 2021.
