The 26th Annual Small Business Awards was held virtually on Friday and eight winners were announced in various categories.
“Loudoun County’s small business community has faced unprecedented challenges in 2020. Yet, these business owners and entrepreneurs continue to persevere and make invaluable contributions that define Loudoun’s world class quality of life. That is why the Loudoun Chamber is so proud to celebrate every small business and entrepreneur in our community, by honoring this year’s Small Business Awards finalists and winners in a 100% virtual fashion,” Loudoun Chamber President & CEO Tony Howard said in a news release.
Catoctin Creek Distillery took home awards for Small Business of the Year, Main Street Business of the Year and the People’s Choice Award. The Conche won Loudoun Destination Business of the Year and 37 Media & Marketing Group won the Superior Service Business of the Year. TextP2P won the Virtual Business of the Year and the National Sports Medicine Institute won the Health and Wellness Business of the Year. Tony Stafford with Ford’s Fish Shack won Loudoun’s Top Entrepreneur of the Year.
The event was held completely online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The finalists and winners were chosen by committees that encompassed local business leaders and experts. There were a total of 32 finalists.
