On Wednesday, April 16, former Stone Bridge High School standout Jackie Yeager’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.
The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.
The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 4 p.m. at Bittinger Stadium against Purdue Boilermakers.
