On Saturday, March 29, former Riverside High School standout Kaylie Avvisato’s current college team, the Northwestern Wildcats, won 14-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game took place at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Sharon J. Drysdale Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
