On Saturday, April 19, former Tuscarora High School standout Lillie Wools’ current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the SIU Edwardsville Cougars.
The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 4:05 p.m. at University Field against Morehead State Eagles.
