U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam, who serves as the Ranking Member of the Military and Foreign Affairs Oversight Subcommittee, has commented on the recent arrest of Peter Mandelson.

“Today’s arrest of Peter Mandelson is another step towards justice for Epstein survivors. I’ve asked him to come before the Oversight Committee and that offer still stands.

We’re starting to see movement from our Oversight investigation. Unfortunately, most of the accountability is happening outside of the U.S., with a former Prince and now a former ambassador arrested in the UK in just the last week. We cannot complete a full investigation without the DOJ following the law and releasing all of the files,” said Subramanyam.

Subramanyam, along with Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia, has previously called for Lord Peter Mandelson to answer questions as part of their ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. In November, they made a similar request to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
