Randolph-Macon tops Roanoke Maroons 12-2 as Chase Triplett takes the mound

On Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m., former Freedom High School standout Chase Triplett pitched for the Roanoke Maroons as they fell 12-2 to the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in their NCAA Division III baseball contest.

The matchup, held at Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park, marked the Maroons’ first game this season against the Yellow Jackets.

Triplett gave up three earned runs over two innings, tallying one walk and one strikeout.

The Maroons will face the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets again for their next game, scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m. at Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park.
