Presbyterian Blue Hose fall 15-6 to North Florida; Leesburg’s Bauer Burkart pitches 3.2 innings

At 6:05 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, the Presbyterian Blue Hose, featuring former Tuscarora High School standout Bauer Burkart, lost to the North Florida Ospreys 15-6 in NCAA Division I baseball action.

Dusty Rhodes Field at Harmon Stadium served as the venue for their season’s first meeting with the Ospreys.

Burkart tossed 3.2 innings, allowing five earned runs while walking two and striking out two batters.

The Blue Hose are scheduled to meet the North Florida Ospreys again on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2:05 p.m., with the game set for Dusty Rhodes Field at Harmon Stadium.
