On Sunday, April 13, former Fauquier High School standout Mikayla Gilmore’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park. This was their second matchup against the Marlins this season.
The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Carol Estes Park against Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets.
