Clerk of the Circuit Court Kaitlin Struckmann is scheduled to administer the oath of office to newly elected local officials on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at noon. The ceremony will take place in the County Courthouse and is open to the public.

Rappahannock County Public Schools District, which serves as the only school district in Rappahannock County, reported an enrollment of 774 students for the 2023-24 academic year. Additional data from that period show that Rappahannock County Elementary School had the highest enrollment among local schools, with 466 students enrolled. White students made up the largest ethnic group in county schools at 82%, or 635 students, while Hispanic students represented about 10.5% with 81 students. Total school enrollment increased by 5.2% compared to the previous year’s total of 736 students. Among all grades, tenth grade had the most students with 74 enrolled (9.6% of total), while pre-kindergarten classes were the smallest at 39 students (5%).

“The public is welcome to attend,” said Clerk Kaitlin Struckmann.
