The NYU Violets, with former St. Paul VI Catholic High School standout Brooke Batchelor on the roster, earned a 72-47 victory over the UW La Crosse Eagles on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at John A. Paulson Center, was the opening game against the Eagles in this round of the tournament.
NYU’s next tournament game is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Cregger Center.
