On Friday, March 27, at 6 p.m., Nate Hawton-Henley, a former standout from St John’S High School, and his current college team, the Maryland Terrapins, suffered an 11-10 defeat to the USC Trojans in NCAA Division I baseball.

Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium hosted the game, marking the teams’ first meeting this season.

Hawton-Henley notched one hit in three at-bats, scored one run, drove in one RBI, drew two walks and struck out twice.

The Terrapins are set to face the Trojans again Saturday, March 28, at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium.
