Former Loudoun County High School star Sharon Manni contributed as the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers secured a 3-2 victory over the Sacred Heart Pioneers in NCAA Division I softball at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.

The matchup, held at Our Lady of the Meadows, marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Earlier in the day at noon, the Mountaineers fell to Sacred Heart 4-2.

Manni finished the game with one hit in three at-bats and drew a walk.

Mount St. Mary’s will face Sacred Heart again at Our Lady of the Meadows on Sunday, April 19.
