On Wednesday, April 16, former Fauquier High School standout Mikayla Gilmore’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Lynchburg Hornets.
The game took place at Moyer Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.
The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 2 p.m. at Cougar Field against Averett Cougars.
