Matthew Shelton, an alumnus of Evergreen Christian School and now a sophomore guard for the Charleston Golden Eagles, will participate in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The team has been positioned as the No. 8 seed and will face the Gannon Golden Knights, who hold the top seed.
The opening matchup is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at the Highmark Events Center.
