Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) has announced that the School Board will hold a meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The meeting will take place in the School Board Meeting Room at the LCPS Administrative Offices located at 21000 Education Court, Ashburn.
According to LCPS, the agenda for the School Board meeting will be available on their website by the evening of December 12. It can also be accessed through the Board Meetings & Documents page. The meeting will accommodate both in-person and virtual public comments, with advance registration closing at noon on December 16. Limited walk-up registration will be available shortly before the meeting begins. Speaker lists are expected to be posted approximately an hour before the meeting starts, and speaking times will be determined by the chair based on participant numbers and agenda items. The meeting and public comments can be viewed in person or via livestream as per a news release from LCPS.
Public comment is open to eligible community members, with security screenings and item restrictions in place. Materials intended for Board members must be submitted in advance at designated areas. The session will be accessible for in-person viewing and streamed online as well as on local cable channels, according to LCPS.
The Loudoun County School Board functions as the official policy-making body for LCPS under Virginia law and regulations from the Virginia Board of Education. It comprises members elected from eight districts plus one at-large seat with staggered terms to ensure continuity; current members assumed office in January 2024.
