Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) has announced that the School Board will convene at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the School Board Meeting Room at the LCPS administrative offices in Ashburn.
According to LCPS, the Loudoun County School Board will accept both in-person and virtual comments for the meeting. Pre-registration for public comment will close at noon on the day of the meeting. Walk-up registration is available from 3:30 to 4 p.m., and a list of pre-registered speakers will be posted at the building and online approximately an hour before the meeting. Comments must adhere to time limits set by the chair.
Eligible speakers include Loudoun County residents, businesses, taxpayers, current or former students, parents or guardians of students, LCPS employees and retirees, and representatives of organizations serving LCPS. Safety protocols require screening for all persons and items entering the Administrative Offices and restrict certain items. Attendees may submit materials to the Public Information Officer before the meeting. The meeting will be live-streamed online and televised on Comcast and Verizon channels; photos and recordings are permitted.
The agenda for the Loudoun County School Board meeting includes a call to order and attendance, disclosures, approval of the consent agenda covering minutes, personnel actions, finance and operations items, committee updates, and departmental proclamations. It also features advisory committee updates, work sessions on financial reviews and budget priorities, a recess followed by an evening session with student comments, a superintendent’s report, public comment procedures, action and information items including policy updates, a closed meeting session, board member comments, new business discussions, and adjournment.
