On Saturday, March 14, the IUP Crimson Hawks, led by former St. Paul Vi Catholic High School standout Luke Triggs, defeated the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons 89-83 in their NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament matchup.

The contest was held at Highmark Events Center at 12 p.m., marking the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.

The Crimson Hawks are scheduled to play their next game on Sunday, March 15, at 5 p.m. at the Highmark Events Center.
