Geary Higgins, a Republican member of the Virginia State House representing the 30th district, has recently posted a series of statements on his Twitter account raising concerns about public safety and school security in Virginia.

On April 10, 2026, Higgins wrote: “They should face tough questions. They are compromising the safety of Virginia’s citizens and putting them at risk.”
