Geary Higgins, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 representing the state’s 30th House district, has posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing concerns about crime and policy decisions in Fairfax County.

On April 3, 2026, Higgins wrote: “12 murders by 9 illegal aliens since 2019… What will it take to wake up Fairfax County?”

Two days later, on April 4, he followed up with two additional posts. The first stated: “Neither option is acceptable…” The second post from the same day read: “This is a hard truth…”

Higgins assumed office after winning election in 2024, succeeding Nick Freitas as the representative for Virginia’s 30th House district.
