On March 15, 2026, Higgins questioned perceived double standards in lawmaking, posting: “Laws for thee, not for me… What… Do I smell hypocrisy here?”
The following day, March 16, 2026, he commented on a recent decision involving candidate selection: “And this was an extremely difficult decision given the absolutely amazing field of qualified candidates to choose from…”
On March 17, 2026, Higgins expressed concern about the direction of local education systems with the statement: “Our school systems have lost their minds…”
Higgins succeeded Nick Freitas as representative for Virginia’s 30th House district after being elected in 2024.
