Geary Higgins, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 representing the 30th district, has recently posted several comments on social media regarding public safety and political leadership in Western Loudoun County.

On February 2, 2026, Higgins posted: “This is our Senator in Western Loudoun County… https://t.co/g3b4yA07qM”.

Two days later, on February 4, 2026, he referenced a campaign promise from Abigail Spanberger’s gubernatorial campaign about supporting law enforcement. Higgins wrote: “Remember the promise ‘… Abigail prioritized making sure Virginia’s law enforcement officers have the training, tools, and resources they need to keep our Commonwealth’s communities safe.’

On February 5, 2026, Higgins followed up with another post questioning public safety: “Are we feeling safer yet… https://t.co/Xwl1IOxVej”.

Higgins began serving as state representative after winning election in 2024 for Virginia’s 30th House district. He succeeded Nick Freitas in this role.
