Geary Higgins, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 to represent the state’s 30th House district, has recently shared a series of posts on his Twitter account commenting on actions taken by Loudoun County Public Schools and expressing support for others’ achievements.

On May 30, 2026, Higgins posted: “If I have this right, Loudoun County Public Schools, LCPS has it exactly backwards again… They are punishing the victims and protecting the perpetrators…”, highlighting his criticism of the school district’s handling of certain disciplinary matters.

In two subsequent tweets on June 1, 2026, Higgins expressed encouragement and admiration. The first stated: “You go buddy!” The second read: “This is pretty amazing…”

Higgins succeeded Nick Freitas as representative of Virginia’s 30th House district following his election in 2024.
