Geary Higgins, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 to represent the state’s 30th House district, posted a series of tweets in early May 2026 addressing recent events and individuals.

On May 8, 2026, Higgins commented on an incident by stating, “Another tragedy that could have been avoided… Pure madness.” Later that same day, he referenced a significant financial error with the post: “An almost $10,000,000.00 mistake…” Two days later, on May 10, Higgins paid tribute to an individual with the words: “A truly great man…”

Higgins succeeded Nick Freitas as representative for Virginia’s 30th House district following his election in 2024.
