On Friday, May 16, former St. Paul Vi Catholic High School standout Michael Vertino’s current collegiate team the Maryville Scots lost 1-7 against the Emory Eagles in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at James C. Fox Field at 9 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Emory Eagles in the tournament.
The Maryville Scots’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:20 p.m. at James C. Fox Field.
