Former Freedom standout Luke Baker appears in Christopher Newport’s NCAA Division III loss Feb. 25

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m., Luke Baker, a former Freedom High School standout, and the Christopher Newport Captains fell 18-1 to the Bridgewater Eagles in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup.

Captains Park hosted the game, marking the teams’ first meeting this season.

Baker pitched one inning and issued three walks.

The Captains are set to face Messiah Falcons at Captains Park on Friday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m.
