On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Fauquier High School standout Meredith Wayland’s current college team, the George Mason Patriots, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Francis Red Flash.

The game took place at George Mason Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Red Flash this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at George Mason Softball Complex against Niagara Purple Eagles.
